Understanding our mental health can be like understanding the tides of the ocean - sometimes we are up, ridden with motivation and enthusiasm, while other days we are low, feeling drained and deflated. This is why it's important to acknowledge when we're not feeling our best – having an honest conversation with ourselves about the days we don't feel so good can be a great first step towards taking care of our mental health. With that being said, it's also important to savor those moments when everything feels easy and effortless. Our mental health isn't one-dimensional - on some days we experience high lows and low highs. When we understand both our good and bad days better, we become more aware of how to take care of our wellbeing on both levels.
